When you walk into my room, the first thing you notice is the soft glow of the lamp on my desk. It’s not just any lamp—it’s a small, vintage-style one that gives off a warm, golden light. The walls are painted in a calming shade of lavender, which I chose because it makes me feel relaxed whenever I’m inside.
In the corner of the room stands my bookshelf. It’s filled with all kinds of books—some are mystery novels, others are science fiction, and there are even a few old photo albums tucked between them. Every time I have some free time, I love to sit cross-legged on the floor and dive into a good story or flip through those cherished photos.
My bed is right next to the window. During the day, sunlight streams through the curtains, making the whole room feel bright and airy. At night, I pull the curtains shut and let the moonlight guide me as I read before sleeping. There’s also a cozy blanket draped over the foot of the bed, perfect for chilly evenings when I want to snuggle up with a book or watch a movie.
On my desk, you’ll find my laptop and a collection of pens and notebooks. I often use this space to write stories, draw sketches, or plan out my days. Sometimes, I like to listen to music while working here, especially instrumental tracks that help me focus.
One of my favorite parts of the room is the little plant I keep by the window. It’s a small succulent, and even though it doesn’t need much care, I still take pride in keeping it alive and healthy. It reminds me that life needs attention and nurturing, no matter how small.
Overall, my room is more than just a place to sleep; it’s where I can escape from the outside world and be myself. Whether I’m reading, writing, or simply sitting quietly, it feels like my own personal sanctuary.
